Early Childhood Recruitment

Explainer video to inform parents of PreK children in Fairfax County that FCPS as quality Early Childhood Development programs that are available to them. Studies show that children who have had early Childhood Development better than their peers in Cognition, Literacy, Math and Physical Development by the time they enter kindergarten. Role: Design, Storyboards and Animation.

FCPS Leadership Conference Intro Screen

Fairfax County Public Schools has an annual Leadership Conference which includes a guest speaker and breakout sessions for the attendees. This piece loops during the beginning of the conference while people are entering the conference room. There is a longer hold on the original piece which is a minute long so that the loop does not occur too frequently. This piece just includes the beginning section and has omitted the longer hold at the end. The idea is to give people something to watch and to provide some energy for those waiting for the conference to begin. The piece begins with our branded colors and logo and bounces into a scene where we have people working together as a team to move forward towards the vision and goals of FCPS. The moving lights and moving line/ball elements also suggest the moving forward as a team toward common goal.

ERFC Employee Benefits video was to inform and educate FCPS employees about their supplemental retirement program and to show them the extra added benefit of working for Fairfax County Public Schools as opposed to other counties that did not offer the program. FCPS School Bond Referendum

Criss Walker PSA

Client: Edd Lockwood Role: Storyboard / Character Design / Animation Original illustration of Criss Walker by Bill Verrill. Criss Walker PSA was designed to inform people about being safe while driving and to inform pedestrians to use crosswalks. There has been an increase in pedestrian death across the US, and this PSA is designed to bring attention to the problem and to inform people to watch out for each other.

Video was designed to air on COX Cable and FCPS website to educate public on the need for increased teacher salaries. My role was to design storyboards, artwork and animation.

FCPS Budget Video

Fairfax County Public School puts out an annual Budget video to inform the resident and employees of the financial needs of the FCPS district. My role included designing storyboards, creating characters and other artwork, and animation.

YCP Christmas Party Greeting Card

Your Creative People needed greeting card message for there email notification blast to clients and employees. Deliverable is the vector animation of provided artwork.

GFA Missions

The deliverable was an ending to wrap up the latest GFA Missions video. GFA Missions sends out missionaries around the globe to deliver the gospel message. When GFA Missions sends out missionaries, there needs to be people who come to receive the message. We wanted to play on the concept of something going out with something else coming forward to great it. We used tagline “Where will YOU Go?” to pass through the camera view and wipe over the ending video. The wipe would reveal the ending video in a tint of the GFA Missions branded blue. After the tag settles and rest for a few seconds, it reverses direction and comes forward passing again through the camera view, revealing the GFA Missions logo end card. Role: Concept and 2D animation.

FCPS School Bond PSA

Each year Fairfax County Public Schools would put out a PSA to let residents know about the school bond on the ballot. Though we could not tell people which way to vote, information was given to lead people to be sympathetic to the cause.

FCPS Logo Animation

Fairfax County Public Schools needed a new logo animation that would move from the older antiquated red school book to one that would express the ideas built around the tag Engage, Thrive and Inspire.
